Cushions

 A wedge cushion or wobble cushion can help to improve posture, build core strength and encourage “active” sitting. This can help children sit and stay focused for longer. As body awareness is improved, the need to fidget is reduced. We sell a range of wedge cushions and wobble cushions in addition to vibrating cushions which can be calming for some children.

In addition to wedge cushions, we also offer the Senseez Vibrating cushions. From calming to arousing, vibrating pillows are becoming a popular way to provide tactile input.  In particular, children with sensory processing disorders / sensory integration dysfunction enjoy, and often need or crave, the input the Senseez vibrating cushions provide. 

For the under-sensitive child, the pillows can provide the absolute necessary input to help calm and regulate their system.  For the oversensitive child, it can be a tool to help increase their tolerance to tactile input.
